Asian elephants are rapidly vanishing as a species, and we humans are responsible for that. After being captured in a wild, they undergo a very brutal and
heartbreaking ritual. As a result, these incredible creatures become slaves to humans. There are so few of them left
out in the wild. But the ones widely used to entertain tourists suffer from multiple injuries, underfed, and poorly
treated. No living creature deserves a fate like this.
I fell in love with these marvelous animals and promised that I would do all in my power to introduce and educate people
around the world about what I have learned while caring for rescued elephants at the Elephant Nature Park in northern Thailand.
As a photographer, I decided to use my camera as a tool to tell a visual story about the fate of an Asian elephant.
